Hi!

I’ve been wanting to make face scrubbies for a while now, and I couldn’t find a pattern that was small enough, sturdy enough, and cute enough to my liking. Hence…I made my own pattern. It’s pretty simple, takes me about five minutes to make one of them. I personally used cotton because I find it soaks in enough of the micellar water to not drip everywhere but still have an impact, plus it’s just a bit rough so it’s exfoliating. It’s a decent scrap buster because it uses a fairly small amount of yarn and could easily just be a couple small amounts of random colors you have laying around, since it’s just a face scrubbie.

Difficulty: Easy

Materials:

Cotton yarn, approx. 11 yds or 10 m

Hook that goes with yarn (I used a 4.0mm)

Pattern:

Rnd 1: 8 sc in magic circle

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (16 sc)

Rnd 3: (2 sc, 1 sc) in each sc around (24 sc)

Rnd 4: (2 sc, 1 sc, 1sc) in each sc around (32 sc)

Rnd 5: [1 hdc, 2 dc, 1 hdc, skip next st, sl st] repeat x10—you should have 10 petals

See! Easy-peasy 🙂

Have a fabulous day!!
